Oktoberfest In The Gardens

Australia’s largest and longest running Oktoberfest event is back bigger than ever in 2024.

Oktoberfest in the Gardens 2024 will be held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle and the Gold Coast, with 65,000 people expected across the seven single-day events.

Inspired by a love of the traditional Bavarian festival and great bier, Oktoberfest in the Gardens features colossal beer halls, authentic German food stalls, roving performers, thrill rides, a sideshow alley, silent discos, and an eclectic mix of entertainment and on-stage competitions across multiple stages throughout the afternoon and evening. You’ll be able to taste your way across Europe with a large selection of imported German beer, cider, wine and a range of other beverages.

"We say it every year, but this year’s Oktoberfest celebrations will be bigger than ever before. It’s amazing how this event has continued to grow across the country" says Ross Drennan, co-founder of Nokturnl Events. "Last year, we added additional cities to the tour and introduced even more fun activations. The response was overwhelming, with record-breaking sales."

Australians adore the tradition of Oktoberfest, immersing themselves in the unique blend of music, food, and festivities that celebrate this awesome culture – with thousands of revellers dressed up in traditional Bavarian attire hitting the streets of Australia’s largest cities, every year.

"This year, we’re elevating Oktoberfest in the Gardens even further," says Drennan, "bringing the ultimate Oktoberfest experience to even more locations across the country – and raising a stein of beer to the most spectacular Oktoberfest Australia has ever seen!"
